From Rescue to Riches
Miss Peaches was first introduced to the world this past Valentine’s Day by Dave Portnoy, president of Barstool Store. Miss Peaches was one of many dogs that had been rescued from a breeder by Atlanta-based shelter, Lifeline Animal Project. Sadly, she was in poor health, timid and scared. Yet as soon as Dave met her, it was an instant love connection. Dave adopted Miss Peaches and immediately she was part of the family – going from “the outhouse to the penthouse,” as he cheekily put it.
As time went on and Dave posted more Miss Peaches content, his account soon turned into the Miss Peaches Fan Club. Followers were hooked from the get go, cheering her on as Miss Peaches learned to enjoy her fullest life as a dog for the first time– eating peanut butter, meeting new friends and getting to play with her own toys.

Miss Peaches for President
Even though she’s now a pampered pup, Miss Peaches hasn’t forgotten her humble beginnings. She has been dedicated in using her fame to help other dogs in need. With Dave’s assistance, she sells Miss Peaches merchandise on Barstool – with net proceeds from the sales going to Lifeline Animal Project. Through their fundraising efforts, $150k has already been raised to support this worthy nonprofit organization. There’s even talk the Mayor of Miami will honor her with her own day! Influencer, style icon and now canine philanthropist, we can’t wait to see what the talented Miss Peaches does next.
